Stage & Street has worked with many teachers, choreographers and dancers to design and create award winning costumes. Upon consultation, the textile, color and design is created to match the music, choreography and most importantly, the performer.
Professional quality tutus are created with a boned bodice and Basque on the tutu. Fabrics are of a higher quality. A minimum of eight layers of graduated netting is used in the tutu skirt and it comes fully tacked. This tutu is performance ready and is recommended for the more advanced dancer.
Student performance tutus are created with a lycra bodice that joins to the skirt. All fabrics require stretch. Eight graduated layers are used in the tutu skirt and it comes fully tacked. This garment is performance ready .
These tutu's have lycra bodices.
