Stage & Street began its humble start in 1983, designing and creating dance & theatre costumes. We serve a clientele ranging from children to adult, amateur to professional, throughout Canada. In the dance field, Davie has the unique ability to listen to a dancer’s music, watch the choreography and design a costume that will portray what the teacher/choreographer wants. Careful attention is given to flow and movement so that there is no conflict between the dancer and their costume. Many teachers are pleased to know they don't have to take the time out of their busy schedule to design their own costumes. Of course, if you already have a design or would like to implement your own ideas on a design, Davie is more than happy to work with you. We make every kind of dance costume such as; Tap, Jazz, Ballroom, Lyrical, Ballet, Acro, Line dance, Hyland and more!

Evelyn Davie (owner/ operator) designs for individuals as well as groups. With her years of experience, she is a professional and skilled designer. In 1999 Stage & Street was awarded Top Costume Award out of 6000 entrees in New York City.
